Kim Kleeman, Shakespeare Squared President and CEO, Named an Influential Woman in Business

Kim Kleeman, President and CEO of Shakespeare Squared (an AEP member), has been selected as a recipient of a 2009 Influential Women in Business award presented by The Business Ledger, a Chicago area business news publication, in partnership with the National Association of Women Business Owners – Chicago area chapter (NAWBO).

Part of the mission at The Business Ledger is to bring recognition to noteworthy area businesses, organizations and individuals through special events such as the Influential Women in Business awards program.

When asked about the importance of recognizing female leaders in business, Kleeman said, “I am grateful to be honored as a leader in business. Yet, with this acknowledgment comes a responsibility. I believe it is important for successful, influential businesswomen to share their wealth of knowledge with other young entrepreneurs and female business owners and contribute to the success of other women.”

Kleeman is one of twenty-two honorees selected for the award this fall. An announcement appeared in the October 19 issue of The Business Ledger. In addition, a special section profiling this year’s honorees will be published by The Business Ledger in its December 14 edition.

A special ceremony for award recipients will be held in Oakbrook, Illinois on November 12.
