In an interview with Larry Jacobs on Education Talk Radio, Charlene Gaynor, CEO of the Association of Educational Publishers, discussed the far-reaching changes that have taken place in the industry over the last 15 years and why we are now entering the era of Publishing 3.0. Touching on AEP’s focus on innovation at its upcoming CIC conference, the organization’s efforts to promote diversity in learning resources, and the industry’s mission to help kids, Gaynor explains why educational publishers are some of the most dedicated and passionate people she knows.

    Thanks for sharing this webcast. It certainly is a “brave new world” in educational publishing with the emerging diversity in learning resources. The ubiquity of computers and the nascent boom of iPads in classrooms will bring lots of new resources to students… it will be interesting to see where it all nets out.
